AI creates Barbie-inspired photoshoot
Lisa Opie, a former Miss Virgin Islands, is the first model to have a completely AI-generated image on a magazine cover. The cover, which appears in the August issue of Glamour Bulgaria, features Opie styled as a futuristic Barbie.
Opie's team was inspired by the upcoming Barbie movie and wanted to create a futuristic and Barbie-esque cover. They found a pink outfit on Instagram that they thought would be perfect for the cover, and they used this outfit as a reference for the AI generator.
The process of creating the AI-generated image was very quick and easy. Opie sent the AI generator a few photos of herself, and the generator was able to create the image in just 20 minutes. This saved Opie a lot of time and effort, as she would have had to go through a traditional photo shoot if she hadn't used the AI generator.
Opie is very happy with the final image, and she thinks it represents her futuristic Barbie style. She is also excited to be the first model to have a completely AI-generated image on a magazine cover.
The use of AI in magazine covers is still a relatively new concept, but it is becoming increasingly popular. AI-generated images can save time and money, and they can also be used to create more creative and innovative images. It will be interesting to see how AI continues to be used in magazine covers in the future.
