Bring On The Rain
I’m looking forward to the rain tomorrow, with mixed emotions.
I favor the emotion that will come from highly reflective surfaces, flooded streetscapes, glistening highlights, and saturated colors.
I don’t care the corn needs harvesting. I don’t care anything outdoor has to be cancelled. I don’t care that the rain is followed by colder temperatures. It is winter.
I care only about myself. About my need for something different than what I’ve been shooting since the last major rainfall.
It’s all about my needs.
I am a photographer.

This is an Amazon link where I make a few pennies to help pay for my life. Today’s necessity is Magicteam Sound Machine White Noise Machine with 20 Non Looping Natural Soothing Sounds Memory Function 32 Levels of Volume. I have one of these at my bedside and although I don’t always listen to the different rain noise, the large industrial fan sound is soothing.
Almost everything I shoot goes through Luminar Neo. Even after I’ve made the first edit of my raw file in Adobe Camera Raw. I’ve built my own set of Luminar presets for the places and things I normally shoot and for different lighting conditions at those places. Then it’s easy to adjust the results for fine-tuning each photo. This is an affiliate link so I might make a little something from sale. Download it for the trial period.
