Don't Get Confused
Spent some time today worrying about the photos I had planned weren’t going to happen. It rained this morning. Can’t make the photos I wanted in the rain.
That meant I had to find a substitute for my plans.
Ran through all the possibilities. None were workable. Especially in the rain.
Finally, I decided to follow my own advice.
“Don’t let the photographs become the object of your attention.”
Good advice. I stopped at a local coffee shop where I spent an hour reviewing notes for a project. Stopped at the library for a talk with one of the historians about historical things and moments. Commiserated with a business owner about the weather preventing him from getting a new roof on his building.
Stopped worrying about photographs and let the day find one for me. Eventually, it found me several. None of which I’d anticipated or expected.
Being attentive to life is the best way to find a photograph.

Almost everything I shoot goes through Luminar Neo. Even after I’ve made the first edit of my raw file in Adobe Camera Raw. I’ve built my own set of Luminar presets for the places and things I normally shoot and for different lighting conditions at those places. Then it’s easy to adjust the results for fine-tuning each photo. This is an affiliate link so I might make a little something from sale. Download it for the trial period.
