I'm OK With It

I shoot these Holiday (Christmas) Lights every year employing my favorite set of instructions.

Is the photo new, different, or better than the last year’s?

This hits the trifecta of “I really don’t know if this is going to work but it will be a new technique for a different look and be better if it works.”

There’s so much not right with this photo. Despite my mother’s teachings that two wrongs don’t make a right, that firm admonition can not only be forgotten, it can be overwritten by searching for new, different, or better and not worried about the result. It is best to just be done.

Like the bacon, I’m probably too close to making a judgment.
