Stick with the essentials of knowing only that which works for you. From fashion to food you can be the expert.
But don’t get caught becoming an expert. Unless you are an expert in everything every day. At least become an expert long enough to make the photograph that is the intent of your creative urge. You don’t have to stay an expert in anything. Be one long enough to create. Then move on to becoming an expert in the next thing.
