NPPA POY book published
The NPPA, for the second time since 2002, has published a book to celebrate its annual “Best of Photojournalism” contest. If you’re a member it’s free. If not, you can buy a copy for $40 and shipping.
The book includes a poignant essay by Boyzell Hosey, senior editor for visual storytelling at ProPublica. Photographs from the still photojournalism divisions are featured in sections devoted to the historic year that was 2021: Racial reckoning, pandemic, politics, migration, sports international and environmental coverage. A complete list of awards with QR codes wraps up the back of the book.
