Pretty Darlings

It’s not always pretty like today when I started to launch the drone and the battery in the controller was dead. That meant I’d left it on when put away after a previous session.

It’s not always pretty like today when I quickly grabbed the camera with the short zoom to make a photo that would have been so much better if I’d taken a few seconds more to put the wide-angle equipped camera over the other shoulder.

It’s not always pretty like today when I waited as long as I could for someone to walk through the frame to add a human element and finally saw that person as I was driving away after shooting something different.
