Stress Relief
Wrote myself a note last June. A simple idea for a future column or story.
“My pulse is lower when I’m in church.”
Never did write the story or column, until now. That’s probably because before, as I started writing I realized my note wasn’t true. I’m not my most relaxed in church.
I’m most relaxed when I’m making photos. My pulse rate is lower. My breathing is slow and steady. I’m more focused.
Getting to that point might have increased both because of the physical excursion required. Like a Zen master, once I start making photos I’m calm.
That’s a place I like to be.
