Study Me This
I’ve been thinking too much lately. Reading too much philosophy. Studying Ockham trying to understand the difference between intuitive and abstractive cognition. Is there something about intent and existence that I don’t understand?
How am I going to make photos tomorrow of something I made photos of today?
Maybe I’m thinking about it too much. Thinking about the objects, the moments, the photos. Wondering about all these abstract possibilities to create something new and different.
Then again, I just need to let go and let the objects, the subjects, the moments find themselves.
That will make a better photo.
Damn Ockham.

This is an Amazon link where I make a few pennies to help pay for my life. Today’s book is The Cambridge Companion to Ockham.
Almost everything I shoot goes through Luminar Neo. Even after I’ve made the first edit of my raw file in Adobe Camera Raw. I’ve built my own set of Luminar presets for the places and things I normally shoot and for different lighting conditions at those places. Then it’s easy to adjust the results for fine-tuning each photo. This is an affiliate link so I might make a little something from sale. Download it for the trial period.
