From where do you get your lessons?

I’m not talking about YouTube, Masterclass, or TikTok videos. Those lessons are mechanical and technical with linear structure. Do this to get that. Do it this way to get this look. First, do this.

That’s not to say linear learning doesn’t have advantages. Not sure how anyone could have any grasp of multivariable calculus without having taken every prerequisite class.

But I don’t think Eminem listened to Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor as part of a lesson plan before sitting down to write “Lose Yourself” in D minor.

The inspiration for great creativity is determined by internal factors rather than external circumstances.

Success is often viewed as a mix of personal qualities and external chances. Claiming external factors don't matter disputes the idea that success involves luck or situation.

What if success depended solely on external factors, making personal efforts meaningless? Success based on personal fulfillment instead of someone else’s ideas for success makes internal factors more crucial.

Using internal qualities encourages critical thinking about what is the measure of success.
