One of the most significant advantages of a tilt-shift lens is its ability to correct perspective distortion in architectural photography. To use this feature, shift the lens until the vertical lines of the subject appear straight in the viewfinder or LCD screen.

Control Depth of Field Tilt-shift lenses offers greater control over the depth of field than other lenses.

To create a narrow depth of field, tilt the lens towards the subject, and focus on the area of interest. This technique can be particularly effective in portrait photography, where you can use it to selectively focus on certain parts of the face or body. Get Creative with Bokeh Bokeh refers to the blur in the background of an image, and tilt-shift lenses can be used to create unique and creative bokeh effects. Experiment with different angles of tilt and focus to create interesting and unusual bokeh shapes in the background of your images.
