Which One?

Farmer larger in the foreground or with him set against the brighter background of soybean harvest dust?

His face is seen in both photos. Compositional balance is similar in both with the top photo having greater foreground-background relationship.

Do they tell different stories? Do they tell the same story in different ways? Is that important?
