When It All Changes, Quickly
Best-laid plans and all those crazy ideas of failure were a reality today. Especially as I was preparing PhotoCamp.
So I’ll make this brief.
Sometimes it’s difficult to see the beauty when you’ve been beaten down, cut up, and stacked someplace away from everything familiar to you.
Then you notice the inherent beauty that has come to you. A part of you that has never been seen. A part that was revealed by the actions of others.
You recognize the contrast now revealed only after things so quickly changed.
Rejection letters, no sales at the gallery, wrong lens at the right time, bad location, time of day, no action, too late. too early, yesterday, and tomorrow all stack up seemingly to prevent your successful pursuit.
The truth is that each of these disruptions presents the opportunity for a new path. A new way to solve the problems that inhibit so many others. Time to find a creative way to remove the rejections, imperfections, failures, and missed opportunities. Time to adapt and leverage improvisation. Leverage breaking rules to your favor.
This is not time for technical adjustments It’s time to set a new path using the troubles to your advantage.
